Or someone could take self defense courses or move to a safer neigborhood.  The answer to gun violence is not to get more guns. Lots of people have a screw loose.

Since 9/11, they are making pilots carry guns in the cockpit and one of them discharged his gun the other day. If the cockpit is fully pressurized, it could have started a fire or an explosion or something.  Luckily, the plane was on the way down as he fired it, else it would have been a big mess.

Anyway, the less people that have them, the better.  I also thnk that it's silly that kids can have guns.  Do you know in Wisconsin, a kid can be 12 years old and licensed to carry a firearm? Hunting is really big here.  No way, would I trust any twelve year old I ever knew with a gun.

People should have to be at least 21 years old to have a gun, pass a mental test, not have an arrest record and have a long waiting period just to get one.  Too many guns on the street now as it is.
