I thought this posting would be of interest because it has to do with the work of our friend George Erickson (who I notice, hasn't stopped into the forum for awhile), and the work he did with his friend Ivar Zapp for the book Atlantis in America. Mr. Zapp even poses with one of the spheres on the cover of the book.
The show hasn't aired yet, so we can't discuss the evidence, but here is the airtime and promotional piece written for it:

Debunked! - Secrets of the Stone Spheres - In the last century, almost 300 ancient stone spheres were unearthed in Costa Rica's tropical forests. Alexei Vranich and Paul Harmon have teamed up to unravel the mystery of where the balls came from, how they were made and who made them. On Discovery Channel: Jun 17 @ 08:00 PM Jun 17 @ 11:00 PM Jun 19 @ 12:00 PM; ET.

In posting this, I don't mean to make light on his or anyone's work on Atlantis, but since the spheres were such a big part of the book Atlantis in America, I thought it might be of interest.
