The possible existence of Third Intermediate Period elite tombs at el-Ashmunein

The use of temple forecourts as locations for tombs of the elite is a well-documented feature of the Third Intermediate Period. A reinterpretation of some very poorly preserved buildings in the court of the temple of Thoth at el-Ashmunein may provide an additional example.
