I don't know how people can be so blinded, it really is amazing.   I guess they're basically told what to believe and they believe it!
I have to admit that for some time I too was blinded, although now that I do know the real truth there are some times I wish that I had stayed ignorant, but that would be the easy course, doing what's right is never easy.
