 A carved Sphinx with the face of Hatshepsut - Located in the Cairo Museum. Note the false royal beard as the symbol of kingship. Actually, the distinctive beard was false for male Pharaohs as well, to the extent that it's a badge of status, rather than any kind of personal grooming preference!
