Why Atlantis refers to the End Times - leon elshout

Kritias 118 states that Atlantis was a central plain surrounded by mountains. We read the same about Jerusalem, Mecca and Babylon and also a little about Rome, all religious cities. What is unique is that the mountains of Atlantis in the center are 2000 stadia apart. How much coincidence can a story take? Throughout the Bible, this number of 2,000 appears throughout as a type for the time between Christ's first and second coming, as in Joshua 3:4. In Acts 1:12 the distance between the place of the Ascension of Jesus and the temple in the City of David was 2000 cubits. I think the 2000 stages between the mountains of Atlantis is a reference to End Time Jerusalem and End Time Babylon and is telling us something in disguise about the return of Jesus.
