This happened to me more than 20 years ago, and I'm still looking for answers and insights.

I've always had a connection with the spiritual world. When I was 18 years old, I had a horrible car accident and experienced an out of body experience, not sure if I actually passed during that time and not certain if that has anything to do with what has happened to me.

When I was 21 years old I went back home over Thanksgiving break and ended up out at a bar with a friend and a couple of girls. I didn't drink but was there to socialize with friends. To cut a long story short, the night progressed and one of the guys at the bar took a liking to one of the girls we were with and a fight broke out between my friend and one of the other guys at the bar.

To avoid a long story going into a lot of detail, I ended up being left alone in the parking lot (my friends had left me). That's when I was approached by 6-8 other men from the bar accusing me of cheap shooting them (I never hit anyone). Next thing you know one of them hits me across the nose, dislocating it, I black out.

I wake up in the back seat of a car going down the highway, a man driving and a woman in the passenger seat, I'd never seen these people before in my life. The man looks at me through the rearview mirror of the car and say "I had to get you out of there they were going to kill you." He then asked where he could take me, I had no clue where my friend went or where the girls lived that we came with and told him so. He thought for a minute and said "I know where to take you."

Next thing you know he dropped me off in front of their house, I knocked on the door, my friend answered. He asked me how I got there...I went to point to the car and the man that drove me there and it was gone....no sign, no tail lights driving away.

Flash forward 3 more years. I'm in Mexico on spring break with my girlfriend staying south of Playa. We decided to take the bus into Cancun for an evening. We take a cab out to dinner, then at the end of the evening end up taking a cab back to the bus station. The driver drops us off 2 block off of the bus station and hurries us out of the cab. The streets are poorly lit and no one is on the street....then all of a sudden a group of men appear out of an alley and start walking toward me and my girlfriend, they don't look like they are too friendly.

Then this man grabs me by the hand and says "I need to take you to the bus station." He walks us to the bus station....hands me two bus tickets...I turn to my girlfriend to show her, then turn back to thank him and he's gone. I believe it was the same man who saved me before.

Not sure why this happened to me and I'm looking for answers. Anyone have similar experiences or have a possible explanation?
