I can totally agree with you Aten was the same god of the Israelites. The only reason archaelogists havn't come up with this on their own is their own natural religious bias.

The archaelogists havn't come up with this fact on their own because of religious aspect .
I can divided them into two parties.

*One of them wanted intentionally to separate any relationship between Moses religion and Egyptian monotheism they denied that the old hebrew language during Exodus was the ancient Egyptian language and the ten commandments had been written by Moses using this language in Sinai .
Note : The hebrew lang. invented 300 later imitated from Aramaic lang.   

*The other party of archaelogists inadvertently follow their pass  .

The old testament contradictions conflicts

There are some major contradictions between statements in the old testament and the scientific facts .

The age of human on earth.       ( ref. to the old testament )
The age of the ancient egyptian civilisation .
The difference between The Orthodox Chronology and other Ancient Egyptian Chronology.
 For example, two biblical sources (Judges 11:26, and I Kings 6) agree that the exodus took place around 1450 BC, but the Orthodox Chronology chops about 200 years off and states that Ramesses reigned from 1279 - 1213 BC!

The Exodus of the Israelites
The Bible states that the Israelites were forced to build a store in the city of Raamses, a city founded by Ramesses. This is not exactly proof. Genesis 47:11 also states that Jacob and the Patriarchs settled in the region of Ramesses, but this is ancient history to the Israelites of the Exodus. To support the argument, the dates gained from the assumption about Shishak are cited. However, in order to get the theory to fit the calculation, loads of the dates given in the Bible are amended.

The egyptologists did great things in archeological field but they were not fair because of their religious bias. The contradiction between historical facts and the old testament caused this misrepresentation and twist.
The story of Moses and the magician very well described in Rameses's tomb.
Look at the translation instead of saying magician they call them hours.
The old testament mentioned their numbers by thousands but actually only twelve.

This is the exact translation made by me .It is far away from the translation of the layer Egyptologists
