That's so true, Rockessence. See, the problem with archaeology is that they don't dig deeply enough, and present their "theories" on only what they can put their hands on.  They are only getting part of the story, and their attitude, which, more often than not, tends to get a bit condescending, is full of it.  There are all sorts of things in the ground that haven't been dug up yet and, before it is all said and done, I think that the book "Forbidden Archaeology" will be seen later on as ahead of it's time.
