I have been hearing these misguided JFK/Ron Paul comparisons since they both wanted to get rid of the FED.  But that's where the comparisons end!

JFK was like Ron Paul, oh, really..?

You know he was for Social Security, right?  And that his administration was the one that INTRODUCED MEDICARE?

You do know he was a self-described LIBERAL, right?

Here is how he defined himself:

If by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties — someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal." Acceptance of the New York Liberal Party nomination (14 September 1960)

Kennedy Medicare

Kennedy also introduced the Civil Rights Bill which Paul said he would have voted against, and Kennedy was also a big supporter of curing POVERTY, and Paul and his supporters, of course, all think that the poor are deadbeats leaching off the rich (their true constituency).

In short -

We knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of ours, and guess what, Ron Paul is no Jack Kennedy!  He is more like an older Dan Quayle.

He had a legitimate Birth Certificate.

He didn't take orders from Bilderberg.

He signed an executive order to End the FED.

Can Obama say the same ?

Obama has a legitimate birth certificate (for anyone not a bigot).

But let's get back to JFK:  your type of anti-liberal/radical right winger is the type that had him killed, then covered it up. The Ron Paul economic policies support only the rich, JFK believed in helping the oppressed and the poor.  You guys have nothing in common with him.

Yeah that he is being sued for forgery over.

But let's get back to JFK:  your type of anti-liberal/radical right winger is the type that had him killed, then covered it up.

No it was the Kissenger/Nixon Globalists that had him assassinated.

The Ron Paul economic policies support only the rich, JFK believed in helping the oppressed and the poor.  You guys have nothing in common with him.

The Four-Point Plan

1. Tax Reform

Eliminate Taxes on Dividends and Savings. The basis of capitalism is savings, and Americans who do so should be rewarded.
Pass HJ Res. 23 to encourage savings over consumption.

Repeal the Death Tax. Attacking small businesses and breaking up family farms smothers growth and kills jobs.
Pass H.R. 2734 to make the Bush tax cuts permanent.

Cut Taxes for Working Seniors. Grandmothers and grandfathers working to make ends meet should keep all the fruits of their labor.
Pass H.R. 191 to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the inclusion in gross income of Social Security benefits.

Eliminate Taxes on Social Security Benefits. That money belongs to seniors, not the government. They paid into the system for a lifetime, and they should be free to spend every penny as they see fit.
Pass H.R. 192 to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the 1993 increase in taxes on Social Security benefits.

Accelerate Depreciation on Investment. We need to help companies grow and create jobs.
Pass H.R. 4995 to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to reduce corporate marginal income tax rates.

Eliminate Taxes on Capital Gains. Investment should be embraced and rewarded.
Pass H.J. Res 23 (The “Liberty Amendment”), proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States relative to abolishing personal income, estate, and gift taxes and prohibiting the United States Government from engaging in business in competition with its citizens.

Eliminate Taxes on Tips. The single parents and working students who earn their income chiefly through tips deserve to keep all of their money. This tax on "estimated income" is unfair and should be ended.
Pass H.R. 3664 to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide that tips shall not be subject to income or employment taxes.

Support the Mortgage Cancellation Relief Act. Working families who lost their homes should not be punished a second time with a big IRS bill.
Pass H.R. 1876 to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to exclude from the gross income of individual taxpayers discharges of indebtedness attributable to certain forgiven residential mortgage obligations.

2. Spending Reform

Reduce Overseas Military Commitments. Our bases and troops should be on our soil.
It's time to stop subsidizing our trading partners in Europe, Japan and South Korea.

Freeze Non-Defense, Non-Entitlement Spending at Current Levels
I vote against all bloated, pork laden spending bills and will veto them as president.

3. Monetary Policy Reform

Televise Federal Open Market Committee Meetings. An institution as powerful as the Federal Reserve deserves full public scrutiny.

Expand Transparency and Accountability at the Federal Reserve
Pass H.R. 2754 to require the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System to continue to make available to the public on a weekly basis information on the measure of the M3 monetary aggregate and its components.

Return Value to Our Money. Legalize gold and silver as a competing currency.
Level the long-term boom and bust business cycle by passing H.R. 4683, which would repeal provisions of the federal criminal code relating to issuing coins of gold, silver, or other metal for use as current money and making or possessing likenesses of such coins.

4. Regulatory Reform

Repeal Sarbanes/Oxley. It has seriously wounded our capital markets and helped make the UK a financial center at our expense.
Ending these misguided regulations would bring jobs flooding back to the United States

Pass H.R. 1049 to reform Sarbanes-Oxley and reduce the burden it places on small businesses.

Repeal or Remove Costly and Unnecessary Federal Regulations. Neighbors know best how to help their neighbors.
We need to make it easier for community banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions to better serve their communities and to help people in these communities get access to credit and capital.
Pass H.R. 1869 to enhance the ability of community banks to foster economic growth and serve their communities, boost small businesses, increase individual savings, and for other purposes.

JFK wanted to end FED tyranny so does Ron Paul.

Nothing in common huh !!!   Wink

Duh!  This is America!  Anyone can sue anyone for anything, the President gets sued all the time, in case you didn't know. Just because someone sues someone doesn't make them right. The point is YOU BIRTHERS are now getting slapped with FINES over this birther garbage which means that you're filing frivolous lawsuits without any legal merit.

You need to look into this a little more.  David Ferry, Clay Shaw and Joseph Milter were all RIGHT WING extremists, and they all conspired to kill JFK. Nothing to do with the Fed, everything to do with Cuba and a military coup.

No it was the Kissenger/Nixon Globalists that had him assassinated.

This was your quote...  I just forgot to distinguish it.

If you had actually read the list you would see how his policies would go across the board to help all people.

Sorry, I have yet to see any proof that you understand economics.  The Paul policies only help the rich.  Right the first time!

And if you DON't think they help the rich, explain to me how, in a time where jobs are diminishing, cutting welfare to poor people who can't find one actually helps any of them?  Oh, I forget, you are probably for the Ayn Rand policy of thinning out the herd so the rich can steal everything.

There's a difference between getting off welfare and being cut off.  You gulliberals spend so much time on welfare 4th 5th and 6th generations worth that you wouldn't know how to earn a wage or live on a budget.

Ron Paul never mentioned cutting anybody off.

Nice try making Ron Paul sound like a Globalist when he isn't.

He will force the capeable off in due time tho.  The 6 generations of welfare will stop that's for damned sure.

No, he just mentioned "weaning" them off, which is the same thing.

He is, he's for the rich, and by definition, your favorite bankers, the Bilderbergers!  How does it feel to be pushing the New World Order on behalf of Ron Paul?

Means he is going to go after minorities again, no surprise there.  Most Republicans have a thing against minorities. They only like rich white people.

No there isn't, you're still making some kid starve because you don't like his or her parents.

Like that has ever happened since the Depression in this country.  Food stamps are real easy to get even in NY.

Oh, really?  I have a job, all my friends have jobs.  Do you have a job?

No I don't, thanks to the Bilderbergers, Bush & Obama my skills are being wasted while the Globalists ruin the economy to fulfill their neo-feudal agenda.  I found out yesterday that many lawyers and doctors are taking up trucking jobs here in Florida because of the rotten economy.  You call that a recovery ?

If you have a job why can't you tell us what it is ??  I'll tell YOU why because it is probably a service sector job that doesn't build one lick of equity.  Like having a governmental job.  No equity built.  Nothing you could box or ship to Europe or Japan  Given your reluctance to tell us what you do it is probably illegal and seedy whatever you are doing too.

No, he just mentioned "weaning" them off, which is the same thing.

Yeah putting capeable people back to work and getting off the government dole.  A healthy adult between 18-65 has no excuse for being out of work unless they have a medical condition.  That is unless the FED contracts the money supply, causing recession and they are unable to find work.  Again the FED being the main source of un-employment.  Get the FED out of the picture and the economy will recover on due time.

The FACT is that once the FED is ENDED and debt free money issued by the US Treasury, the economies of all 50 states will recovery within 2 years.  Hell get some manufacturing going in Hawaii.  if the Japanese can turn their island nation into a manufacturing super power Hawaii should do the same.

There are too many fakers always trying to bilk the welfare system without any remorse.  I will give Bill Clinton credit for doing his part for getting the 5 & 6 Geners off welfare and back to work back in the 1990s.

The NWO runs the FED, Ron Paul would END it.  Obama hasn't mentioned a thing about the FED.  Tell me again who is the Globalist puppet and who is the Constitutional candidate ?

Means he is going to go after minorities again, no surprise there.  Most Republicans have a thing against minorities. They only like rich white people.

Republicans... maybe...  Ron Paul however, means he is going after the Jerry Springer culture in America, regardless of race.  I've seen more NY women get pregnant by their flings just for the express purpose of charging the government the expenses of having another kid.  There's no concept of family, or maintaining a relationship.  Just WAM, BAM, Thank You MA'AM, Hello Uncle SAM.  Afterwards the kid grows up neglected, ends up running with a gang, then going to prison.  So you now have the mother collecting welfare and the kid doing time.  Both additional expenses you and I as taxpayers pick up the tab for.

Under Ron Paul these babies would be pulled from the gold-digger mothers and sent to live in a foster home where they could learn some real values.  The mother would be forced to learn a trade, get a job and prove her self-sufficiency if she ever wants to get the kid back.  Most of them will be too busy shacking up again or doing their drugs to ever bother trying to get their kid back but at least they won't be collecting welfare for it.

But yes ending welfare abuse and fraud is a big priority for Ron Paul.

Sure they have!  Starvation is still very prevalent in America.  Here is a chart that shows where it's the worst:

Here is more if you want to read more about it:

http://www.afaceaface.org/blog/2011/02/07/hunger-in-america-2011-united-states-hunger-and-poverty-facts-and-statistics/

Some days, I am starving myself.  Like a lot of people, I live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford to buy lunch, which makes for a long day.  As more disposable income is cut back, the less people have to eat.

But my problems are nothing compared to the millions of people, especially in the south who are born and forced to live and die in abject poverty with hordes of Republican Governors wanting to cut them off because they don't vote for them.

I'm sorry you don't have a job. Lots of people's skills are being wasted. I'm working with a guy who used to be a teacher right now and having a hard time getting back into the industry.

Did you try temp agencies?  They ARE hiring right now and some of those jobs lead to permanent positions.

Blaming Obama is NOT the answer.  He can only do what he and the Repuglicans agree on doing and right now that isn't a hell of a lot.  Sure, the banks started the crisis, but the stimulus did help create or save lots of jobs and we would be in even worse shape if it hadn't happened. We need a SECOND stimulus that includes lots of infrastructure spending and green jobs.  We also need to eliminate the tax cuts for companies moving jobs overseas.

What's wrong with a public sector job?  Do you think America runs on good will or handouts from the rich?  No, it runs on the hard work of average Americans who take lesser salaries so they can give something back to this country in the name of service.  If you think it runs on all the greedy companies that eliminate your job so they can outsource it overseas, you are really mistaken. All they want to do is eliminate your job, steal your money as a consumer, then move on once they have made enough profit.  There is no patriotism in business, only GREED.

Yeah, great move.  Because more mothers can't stay home with their kids, we have more kids growing up to be criminals.  Great move for the prison industry!

You don't need to end the FED, somebody has to print money.  All you have to do is privatize it. Why isn't Paul asking to do that?  All ending the FED would do is hurt the U.S. economy, which once again shows how  little he knows about economics.
