Even though I thoroughly enjoy both Hoagland and Sitchin, we must keep in mind that neither of these people are from the academic world.  Therefore, academics will bash them, and probably in their minds, rightly so, because both of these people are going against orthodoxy, and perhaps that's what is so attractive about them.  In these modern times, with computers, it's pretty hard not to know of these two guys, especially if one is interested in this sort of thing.  

Personally, I find it much more logical - in fact, downright more probable - that earth has been visited in the past than to accept that we all once started out as pond scum!!  Come on!!  The question for evolution is not HOW did evolution take place and where is the missing link, the question is WHY would pond scum do that in the first place?  It had to be that it wasn't the pond scum itself, but what was "seeded" in the pond.  It grew the way it was meant to do.  Pond scum is still pond scum.  Scientists think they can show a line backwards to depict the evolution of certain species.  Perhaps that's true to a point.  But MY point is that it was not the pond scum that we all hark back to, it was an original seed.  You can plant a pea a thousand times and it will still bear peas, not beans.  UNLESS it is genetically altered, and who or what has the knowledge to do this?

The question is - what difference does it make if there are hidden agendas or not?  On the one hand, supposedly the governments are hiding the fact that there ARE et's out there, that we HAVE been visited before, that civilization DID come from off planet, etc. etc.  Then we have the other side, where people like Gene Roddenberry and other producers put out all these films about aliens, until we're so flooded with it, children now are growing up accepting it as fact.  So what's the point?  It used to be said that these things were hidden in case of mass panic.  Bullcrap.  If anything, curiosity would run rampant and we'd all want to see what these folks look like and how they live on their planet.  So how DOES Gene Roddenberry and a couple of other sci fi producers come up with ALL these ideas?  From real life of course.  The government's other side is working at letting the world know there's aliens out there in a fashion more "suitable" to the easily panicked.  

What will be, will be.  There have always been those who seek power - taught to them obviously in the beginnings - by their "gods" - to rule over their fellow beings.  There has always been a head honcho, there has always been underlings.  Where's the surprise in that?  What difference is it going to make if the president is president of the United States or if he's president of the whole world?  The only reason there would be a president of the world, is if there are other worlds he has to deal with.  Right now, the president deals with leaders of other countries.  Even in that, no one person can satisfy the demands of every one else, so how does anyone think one person can represent a whole planet?

Simply put........

They elect the monkey to work as a scapegoat/figure head.
Those who control the world's money, are puppet masters and what a show they put on.
However, is it really better to igore the potential that one of these days.

America might really collaps?
We might all be subject to the rulership of a dictator?
Should we just turn the other cheek and let whatever happens, just happen?

I guess it's a matter of choice on both side of the debate.
However, if all these stories have any truth to them.
Then the answers will be revealed soon enough.
However I see a glimmer of hope for everyone according to this whole story.
For 6 billion people it takes around 8,000 or so to simply encourage love.
I see a number larger then this doing just that and counting.
The more people who care for another and love people, the better.

Being aware of why we haven't falls into the big picture in this discussion.
We should question what is going on around us.

Then it all won't matter who's fighting what cause and when.
It will be them killing each other while the rest focas on what present and future they are going to create.
There is scientific proof that our emotions are an energy and that energy does in fact create our life.
It's hard to wrap your brain around but we are like quantum computers. We manipulate this reality at the quantum level by willing it into a part of the collective creation.

The wrong person discovered how this all works and that was that. The world as it is today.
Now we are developing an understanding.

One more idea that may play a huge role in how this all unfolds.
We call our ancestors, primative in academics. This is probably because they were so advanced that they used substance differently. The were more in harmory with nature and themselves.
What if, this is what the ancient visits from ETs was encouraging our ancestors to teach future generations to learn from.

Everything as it is, as we know it.
Is a product of dreams motivated by desire.
We all play a role in this because like any ripple in a puddle.
Our act in a day is what creates the next thousand steps we are going to make by choice.
Not just for ourselves, but everyone in whom we effect to perpetuate the next wave of actions in what they decide. And again in whom they manipulate to add the driving mechanism at work and so on.

Yet how many times have we seen an act of kindness between two strangers ignite a wonderful feeling that carried over the same? This can equally effect us for the better if the effect creates a ripple of it's own. Which is actually the direction this topic has been going into.

Freeing our minds from what is wrong by acknowledging the problem and solving it.
We do not have to continue on as we have if enough of us are willing to show the world another way through love. The basic moral of God and what we have learned by it is just that.
Love thy neighbor as thy self.
Don't steel from them.
Don't kill them.
Don't sleep with there spouces.
Don't lie to your neighbor.

Simple laws that almost always are broken because our collective thoughts are driving by fear.
If we loved, there is no reason to do any of those things Gods said not too.
Makes perfect sence to me... We have an oppurtunity right now to do this and it's easy.
Now think hard on why your not going to do it. LOL
It's because of something inside driven by a fear of something or another.

"I don't want to be looked at like a crazy person or a fool"
"what if people laugh at me"
"What if my friends stop talking to me"

And many more questions follow.........
Let go of that and just do it.
That is whats going to make the biggest impact in our future.
Learning that love is encoded in our very being is not enough.
Acting on it is.

Let me ask you something.

Whatever the hidden conspiracies are, whoever has all the money, the biggest car, the most airplanes etc. - what good will any of that be if - say - UFO's arrive here with all their advanced technology?  Their ships can interrupt all our power supplies, basically turn off any kind of power supply, and our world becomes basically - dead.  We can't communicate with each other, we can't take the elevator to our bunker 28 stories down into the earth to hide - no one could do anything.  So what difference does it make that there are secret societies playing their games, what difference does it make if the Bildeburgs or whoever have tons of money - these people will be as crippled as the rest of us if the aliens choose to irradicate our power sources.  They won'd know a Biledburger from a street bum and wouldn't care less.  So what's all the fuss about?  There wouldn't be a damn thing we could do about it so why worry about it?  In the meantime, spread the love if you so desire - goes a long way to paying the karmic debt.

Here's a summation for you.  As I've said before, I totally enjoyed Sitchin's books and the idea of extraterrestrials doesn't bother me a bit.  However, when it comes to channeling, I have my doubts.  I've heard a few stories that tell that when the spirit guide was challenged, it became super angry and distorted into an evil demon.  To me, as much as I find channelling fascinating, I've never tried it, because I feel it is just another way of manipulation.

I totally agree with you Qoais, there is no possible way for you to tell if the person that you're channeling is good or evil, just because they tell you that they're good doesn't make it true.

Keep in mind that this is just hypothetical.  If you were an alien race planning on invading Earth and overthrowing mankind, channeling peaceful intentions to the human inhabitants of Earth would insure that you would be met with open arms and not raised weapons.

With this in mind, there's no way that we can trust or should ever trust what is being channeled.
