We are friends.

Proximity in itself does not make a friendship. And if proximity does not, how can it be singled out as the lone criteria? You know my thoughts, and you know my beliefs. Even when we disagree, we still manage to accept one another, flaws and all. That is what achieves understanding, forms a bond, creates memories.
