I'm afraid DNA evidence contradicts this theory, Bear. The people of the Isles have inhabited the same area since before the end of the last ice age and they are not geneticly kin to either the Israelites nor the Egyptians. The legends, however, do persist that there is a connection. You might want to check a couple of the threads on this forum - Boreasi's NEW file, for one - also the discussion of Homer in the Baltic.
