It does sound alot like the regressive thinking that so many are guilty of.
I to have been down that road. Yet when the tough gets going I am in my element.
NEVER SAY DIE!

Then everything seems to change and wah-lah. Life is good.

I'm the kind that can eat a ton crap until I'm backed into a position I don't want to be in. Then it's like cornering a wild animal. I will come out of the corner and absolutely will do whatever it takes to swim instead of sink, sort of speak. I know atleast 95% of you don't know me personally, but those who do know this about me.

You are referring to my poem?

I had to write something of grit and dirt... and that came out.  I think there are another couple of verses to come.

ILLIGITIMI NON CARBORUNDUM

Thus ye may find in thy mental and spiritual self, ye can make thyself just as happy or just as miserable as ye like. How miserable do ye want to be?......For you GROW to heaven, you don't GO to heaven. It is within thine own conscience that ye grow there.

It is only regressive in the way that most people now a days veiw a situation.
Instead of trying until there is nothing else left to do, alot of folks will just give up.

This is the object I used to inspire my tattoo. Surrounding this likeness of Jesus I had a good friend of mine then tattoo a thorny style of tribal band that wraps all the way around with the Christ head in the middle.

Above on my shoulder I have a celtic cross. In the way I think, if it's something with deep meaning to me.
Having it tattood is a way of artistically expressing it. All the work I've had done has deep meaning to me at some level or another.

An RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) officer stopped to help a stranded
rider standing beside a stalled motorcycle in the mountains. It was
extremely cold, and the rider was heavily dressed in a helmet, balaclava
 and snowmobile suit.

In a muffled voice, the rider told the Mountie that the carburetor was frozen.

A motorcyclist himself, the Mountie remembered an old trick for just such
an occasion. 'Try peeing on it,' the Mountie said, 'that should unfreeze it.'

 'Can't,' replied the rider.

So the helpful Mountie took out his own equipment and liberally hosed down the carburetor, and the bike soon fired up.

A few days later, the local detachment received a thank you note from a
father, grateful for the roadside assistance his young daughter had
 received from the RCMP.

Flip and Flop

Flip: Sure ain't nothing like a nice coffee and warm shower in the morning.

Flop:Speaking of which Dear brother.

Flip: why, now whats going on?

Flop: Well it's really none of my business, but I noticed that your neighbors are always over here using this and that.

Flip: And?

Flop: Well? Why are these people over here using all this stuff for free and and not kicking you any cash?

Flip:  Cheesy Let's look at this through my eyes. First, heres a senerio.
(flip asking JD)      Hey could you go to the store later for my wife while I work the feilds and pick this up?
And they will do it gladly as they tell me.
(flip working the feild) Damn, now how am I going to get this bail into the truck?
(Slim walks up) Hey Flip, whats up man?
(flip) Well just working and trying to get it done.
(slim) Well shoot, I can give you a hand. No problem dude.

Now with just these few senerios in mind. What kind of person Am I?
They help me all the time, and the least i can do is help them too.

 Wink Wink Wink

Anyone wanna take at wack at the moral?
And yes! I am the lame author of this story.

BTW here is an experimental song done by a kid that grew up just up the street.
Demented, different, yet unique and harmonic.

A good friend of mine Bethanie G. made this with sharpies and colored pencils.
She took the photo of this work and then gave it to me. I have it on a bedroom wall now.
She is the tattoo artist that did all my work. However this young lady is also doing art work for plays and concerts at the Erie Playhouse, The Roth Rock, and other place where artistic expression is displayed.
World of potential. This particular picture took 2 days and is an origional peice.

Notice the Buckyballs at the top..   LOL
Those I inspired.
