From the moment that Adam and Eve were exiled from the garden of Eden to only a second ago, everything about our very being has effected the enviroment. Let's look at the way our ideas alone have caused the Earth to change so drastically. Ethics and general philosophies about how society should act or behave. The way these things brought about the changes that have transformed our world. Even a look at the world continues to decline/progress as a result of our ignorance/understanding about everything can be discussed.

Is it how we were taught to veiw the world the problem, or is it by choice that we continue walking the paths we do?

Things have definitely changed over the ages.  Time was, it was okay to sacrifice one's own children to their god, sell a conquered people into slavery and torture people into giving them the kinds of answers you'd prefer.

Now, all of those things are considered out of bounds.   Cheesy

The Lamb of God, or Lion of Judah, opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons forth four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses:  Conquest, War, Famine, and Death.

The technology of human beings has evolved, and yet our instincts are still little more than those of animals:  fight, flight and survival.

When you think about it, that has always been the problem of humanity.

Not all of them.  Under Bush, we are still torturing people. An argument can also be made that we're still sacrificicng our kids if you consider how many wars the guy has started.   Wink

We could achieve a Venusian futuria if we could get the masses on Earth to unify and educate themselves but educating Earth humanity is the new MISSION: Impossible.

Especially considering the fact that eugenicists have been flouridating the water supplies for years.

Now with these things in mind, how many of these things would you consider immoral or within tolerence?

I mean war really is more of a crime motivated by greed instead moral obligation as we are lead to beleive.
Technology is an expression of progress with a regressive outcome.
Finally, slavery is a way of life for all of us and we don't even relize it until we sit and think about it.

Now with that perspective in mind, would you agree with these statements?
What is the modern philosophy of our leaders that makes these things good?

As for floride destroying our imaginations and dull us down, sort of speak. It doesn't always work if were able to retain a little above average amounts of information. After all, our imaginations are usually limited to our individual understanding of the world around us. I was born in 1970 and my understanding of the world changes year by year as I "Force Feed" my imagination with outcomes of present and possible events from the resulting cause and effect.

Had the idea of floride being the primary reason for our regressive nature, it would then be a matter of a persons age. The older you get the less you can imagine. In my opinion Volitzer, it might contribute, yet thats not quite all of it.
