Considering most vote independent the CFR candidacies are just elaborate smoke and mirrors.

Both can be pretty dumb when they both vie for an authoritarian agenda.

Liberal = Socialist-Authoritarianism

Conservative = Fascist-Authoritarianism

Liberals have policies intended to help people at least, whether you agree with them or not, they mean well.

Conservatives have policies that just help themselves!  They don't want to pay for anything, don't want to help people and are never more giddy than when they are seeing something get killed.

Pathetic.

Sure like flouridated water and thimerisol vaccinations and the creation of nanny-states.

Seems to any thinking person that Libertarian would be the way to go.

Only if you are into smoking dope!  A Libertarian is a Republican that likes to smoke dope, everyone knows that.

And that is the biggest reason why I am a registered Republican even though I know I am a centrist politically.

Both radical wings scare me... but the left wing scares me more because they think they know what's best for me better than I do.

No.

Oh... Hi everyone... long time no see :-)

Vol, you and I must be near the same age.

I've been raised on NWO thinking. I have read George Orwell and Robert Anton Wilson - extensively - both of whom wrote allegory as fiction on the NWO.

Both sides on this debate miss the point most of the time. They both refer to centrists as "wishy-washy" and describe them as "unable to form opinions" because of course we don't hold theirs. This disgusts me and scares me at the same time.

I was being facetious about Ron Paul on the other thread but maybe I should look into it more seriously.  Smiley

I think the biggest difference between conservatives and liberals is that conservatives love their country, no matter what it does and wear their patriotism proudly around the world.

Liberals always want to change America and point out it's problems.  We don't need negative people like that in America.  As far as I'm concerned, any of these liberals that have a problem with the way things are done in America have one option open to them - to leave.  We don't need those kind of people screwing things up for the rest of us.

A few years ago I found a few very interesting documetary that even explained a system that would aliviate the current issues with the FED and at the same time prevent us from having to go back to the Gold Standard.

Granted this Bad Boy is 3 and a half hours long so it'll take a while to watch but it is necessary to understand what is going on and  why going back to the Gold standard is a  VERY bad Idea.

The video also gets into alternative solutions that could actually work and yes this solution includes no longer relying on the federal reserve or a gold standard. No it is not more fiat currency .....

For those who want to skip through the causes and the problems and get straight to the Solution  here is the last part of this documentary.

Oh, I wouldn't say that, Anteros.  Right wingers are the ones that think they have the right to invade your privacy by illegal wiretaps, checking your bank records, internet usage, even your library card records (per the Patriot Act).

Give a choice, they would also ban abortion, and some even want to ban birth control.

Some also want to make English the official language of America, and see no problem with the introduction of religion (i.e. Christianity) into the government.

Left wingers don't want any of these things.

So, even though you may or may not agree with any of those policies, I think it's a fairly open and shut case as to which extreme thinks they know better what is better for you than you do. All the rest is just propaganda.
