I wish I didn’t feel this much
Not that I would turn back now
Who knew that when I asked for it
That healing, feeling touch could give
A voice to stone, and that alone
Electrified the world around, but
Giving voice to everything
Revealed the fear, the terror still
Contained in every cell
Of every feather, flesh and leather
Everywhere I turn in hell still
Formed of voices crying out
From every scrap torn by free will
From gentle bodies wondering why
Their fate was cast by you and I.
