                                                  ARE'S NEWS FROM THE FIELD

"You may not hear as much as you would like about ARE'S ongoing search for the Hall of Records, located in three spots on the planet (according to Edgar Cayce), but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of research being done and discoveries being made.  It's simply an indication of how difficult and time-consuming this type of research is, especially when it is in deep water with a strong current (Gulf Stream) or under an international monument (the Sphinx), or in a jungle with no roads (PiedrasNegras).

The picture above was taken in July of this year by one of ARE's archaeological teams.  It is a photo of
an unnatural complex in about 185' of water with the strong, steady current of the Gulf Stream flowing
over it.  The diver is using apropeller device to resist the current's force and keep him over the site.  There is a video cmera mounted on the device.  His companion diver took this shot.

ARE Archaeological research in the vicinity of the Bahamas is being guideby Dr. Doug Richards, Dr. Joan
Hanley, Drs. Greg and Lora Little and archaeologist Bill Donato - all of whom have given much of their
talent and time to this effort for years.  It is being funded by Don Dickinson and another major donor
who wishes to remain anonymous.

The photo is one small feature of a massive area stretching along the Gulf Stream off the coast of
Bimini Island - an area that Cayce mentioned.
