Yes, Ishtar, how silly of me to presume that we could have an adult discussion here, amidst grown-ups. Perhaps my next topic should be about what flavor ice cream that everyone prefers.
And I take issue with your assessment of the "God" topic. I believe that one was going quite well, with several varying different viewpoints on the topic at hand until a certain person tried to take it over who, will, of course, remain nameless.

Obviously, you haven't read any of my earlier posts, Ishtar, or else you wouldn't ask this question. I am deadly serious. I first came to this board in November, at about the same time as Aristotle and some of the others, and my position has remained consistent. In the beginning, I tried to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I still believe that people like Bluducky, Andrew, Absonite, and perhaps even Via Mars have hope, even though I don't like their positions on things. For others like Veronica, Aristotle, Baphomet, and last, but certainly not least, Dawn Moline, there is no hope. Perhaps you are new here, so you don't know, but people like them are exactly what happens to be wrong with America today. Dawn in particular, seems bent on breaking down, ever so subtly, the moral fabric of our society. They insinuate, ever so slyly, that is okay to blur the lines between right and wrong. On the surface, some of their messages might seem quite casual, read between the lines and you will see what I mean.
Do I intentionally mean to get them "riled"? Of course not. Yet, since I have no respect for their opinions and believe that they set a bad example for our children, I certainly could care less if they get "riled."
No, the government may not care about the Atlantis Rising message boards, but it is very concerned with deviant behavior, I would suggest that if any of these people are engaged in the sort of antics that their comments suggest, the government would be very interested with that. Once again, I would have no misgivings about any of them being investigated and, consequentially punished.
You are right that many of the heathens on this board tend to attack en masse not just me, but, one assumes, anyone who is Christian. I have my suspicions that, at their core, it is Christianity that they hate the most because it is so at odds with their own pagan message. To this, I say only, let them come. The wrath of God courses through me and I will let them no, in no uncertain terms, that they are dealing with a moral man.
Lastly, I don't know how to respond to the comment that "you don't know any Christians that are this dogmatic." My first reaction was to be outraged on this. I dislike the word "dogma" and believe that words like "dogma" and "fundamentalist" are labels created by the liberals to somehow cast doubt upon the veracity of our beliefs. Everyone who I count as a friend in the groups with which I am affiliated with believes in the same way that I do. In fact, often I find myself feeling a sense of shame that I haven't done as much as they have in attempting to save my fellow man.
The world is divided into two camps, both good and evil. Since I sense that you are a good person, I will ask this of you politely and hope that you will respect it in the spirit with which is asked: in the future, please do not make any comment that might dampen the spirit or cast doubt on the message I am trying to bring again. Don't be on "their" side. As good Christians, we must stand together and nothing less than America's moral character is at stake in this. Don't stand with the false teachers, sodomists and abortionists of the world, stand with God.

I think what Calvin is saying the child had a right to live ,whether it was from incest or rape.Abortion and choice is a diffcult decision, however the women I know that had a abortion, had a hard time with the feeling of lost, a being that was also a part of themsleves.

How long must this go on?
I want to talk about morality, so, I think I will do just that:

What defines 'morality'? is it a by-product of society? Religion? family values?
A good upbringing will surely give an obedient child a steady foundation for the rest of it's life. (many adults even refuse to watch television programs with low to moderate adult content, due to their upbrining. They will simply leave the room until the offending show is over. Their upbringing has instilled solid, set 'values' in them)
This is one example. What about others?
Does religion set standards of morality to the degree that one cannot deviate from their teachings?
Every religion has sects, or denominations, which segregate the believers into groups, and thus, their accepted beliefs tend to differ. Does their sense of morality also differ, upon being segregated? Same religious articles, but different beliefs and different ideas of morality?
Who determines what is to be called 'Moral'?
Throughout the world, every society has different ideas, different Gods, and a different set of principles. Therefore, who can rightly say what is truly moral? Each one's upbringing dictates differently.
What are your thoughts?

I suggest that before deeming to lecture people on the Bible, that you actually read the Bible. There are many teachings in it for one such as you. You should get down on your knees and pray for forgiveness for all the misdeeds in your misspent life. I would suggest that, save that it is plain that hedonists like yourself, Veronica, Dawn, and the many others that have infested this forum are so far gone that it would be a lost cause.

The confusion derived from the statements is one of yours, not mine, and is indicative of the corruption of our society as a whole. A child conceived by rape or incest is no less a child. Therefore, to abort it would still be murder, and the parties to such an act, both the doctor and the mother, should go to prison.
It was God's will that the child be conceived, who is man to reckon with that judgment?
Society must change it's standards on morals to be more in keeping with the new laws. God should not have to change his standards to be in more in keeping with the law of man.
As I said, the law of man can be changed, the Law of God can never be changed.

Moderators are getting slammed for not doing something about threads that are heading in the direction this one is going. Keep in mind, Moderaters can only censure sites they are assigned. Until it was brought to my attention on a different thread I was not aware of the problem. I try to stear clear of this sort of site because I know things are going to be said that rises blood pressure. If those posting this site cannot behave like adults; they should go elsewhere. It appears to me that serveral, here, are deliberately baiting others for a reaction. If you really want to debate the subject, and not just irritate someone, I think you could do it. Like myself, if the site upsets you, don't use it.
