Chances are...

IF Atlantis ever did exist, then the government MAY HAVE found fragments of it, and they are just keeping it completely secretive. Just like the alien thing. Roll Eyes

OR, other cultures could have remnents and fragments of Atlantis, and they want it ALL kept to secret.

That could even be why no one else wants Atlantis found. They want to be kept under wraps.
