You're sure right about that, Herefornow.  However, to really gage their similiarities, we really have to get inside the pyramids, too, and see just how they were constructed.  The Great Gallery in the Great Pyramid, for instance, no mistkaing the fact that that was of a distinct style, from a people that really knew their engineering. South American pyramids just seem to look different.
