I have updated the links, as I previously posted the wrong link for Teubner.  Proclus was a famous Plato schollar from 400AD.  He commented on the Timaeus and not the critias.  These 2 books are from the 1847 and 1900s in Greek, and maybe the editors are the source of the Karethousa; they are currently out-of-print.  New English editions of Proclus exist, but are expensive.

ps. I'm glad you liked the book... I've been curious what it says.

"Proclus Lycaeus (February 8, 412 – April 17, 485), surnamed "The Successor" or "diadochos" (Greek Πρόκλος ὁ Διάδοχος Próklos ho Diádokhos), was a Greek Neoplatonist philosopher, one of the last major Greek philosophers (see Damascius)."

Wow Danaus this is an amazing book. Actually someone from Plato's time, probably a little more recently is commenting on his work. I don’t know about the credibility of this writer/historian?? But what I like about it is that he is closer to Plato than he is to me. If you know what I mean. Names of places and timelines. I have to find a hardcopy of it. It’s easy to read, as his Greek is much closer to modern Greek than that of Plato (its called Katharevousa). That indicates that this Proclus must be of Byzantium era or even more recent. I, definitely have to check him out. Thanks.

Dear......DANAUS,

How could PROCLUS be a contemporary pupil of PLATO,
When he commented on this manuscript 50 years later he must have been 70 allready ! because
I read( somewhere thus can't give specific references.)
Tongue that while the MANUSCRIPT existed during Plato's LIFE( dd 366-347 bc.)
it was not published directly after Plato's Death but lingered-on, for 30 or 50 more years
in a cellar of a nephew in Milete, who had inherited his book-s.)?  Cry Shocked Cry
