I've seen quite alot of posts about the Canaries and Azores in the Atlantis Risen facebook group which I recently joined. Although I don't believe Atlantis is in any of these places or on the bottom of the Atlantic ocean I do think that these places might have links with Atlantis via having been visited by Atlanteans travelling between Atlantis/Americas and the Old World. So here is a very rough attempt to show some possible links of these 4 islands groups with Atlantis (which I place in South America with capital at Tiahuanaco) and/or other nations/cultures. Anyone feel free to post any more other connections.

Azores/Acores Islands name origin:
Acor "goshawk, eagle, accipter" (Portuguese, compare Egyptian ahom or Horus, Mayan ahau)?
Acores parish (Guarda, Portugal)?
Azure/azuis/azul "blue" (Genoses/Florentine/Portuguese)?

Sorry I see I made a mistake. There is no edit post option.

"Azores in middle of Atlantic (San Miguel called "navel of ocean", across a vast expanse of salt sea water, 9 days from S & C, 18 days from Phaeacia, warm and gentile breeze, a following wind, not south of latitude 35 re steering by Bootes & Pleiades, unihabited) :
Ogygia island of Calypso "sea-girt wooded isle at omphalos/navel of sea" (island in midst of western sea 5 days sail west of Britain)?
(Refs: Jurgen Spanuth.)"

should have been:

Azores in middle of Atlantic (San Miguel called "navel of ocean", uninhabited) :
Ogygia island of Calypso "sea-girt wooded isle at omphalos/navel of sea" (island in midst of western sea 5 days sail west of Britain, across a vast expanse of salt sea water, 9 days from S & C, 18 days from Phaeacia, warm and gentile breeze, a following wind, not south of latitude 35 re steering by Bootes & Pleiades, uninhabited)?
