I have been reading some other Atlantis websites on Thorvald Franke's webring. They all are on the archeological trail. Santorini, Ireland, Spain were options for Atlantis. Okay, was Santorini bigger than Asia and Libya, did Ireland sink into the sea? Is Apain an island? All answers are "no".

Atlantis researchers should understand very well what they are looking for to discover. Otherwise they will discover "another" heap of rocks on the sea bottom, claiming it to be "another" could be Atlantis. I tell you this: Atlantis is a complex theological mystery that even most theologians would not understand. It dances around concepts of "mirroring", "dualism" and the word tsaphon (meaning "north").

On one of the websites that focussed on Crete (Bible: Kaftor), I saw that the Minoans had an obsession with mirrors: https://www.minoanatlantis.com/Minoan_Mirror_Web.php

This mirroring principle is too long overlooked as a key to understand Plato's mystery.

Such a complex theological system could have only been invented by a higher being, to my opinion, such as the Python Spirit in Acts 16:16. Somehow this entity must have infiltrated Plato's mind. Another question: who was Plato anyway?
