Star Trek: Picard Teasers Put the Spotlight on Seven of Nine & Hugh
It hasn’t exactly been a secret that Star Trek: Picard will feature the Borg. The series’ producers recently teased a unique take on Jean-Luc Picard’s old adversaries. A month ahead of the series premiere on CBS All Access, the official Star Trek Twitter account has dropped a new Star Trek: Picard teaser. However, instead of Patrick Stewart’s iconic character, this one puts the spotlight on Jeri Ryan’s Seven of Nine.

Ryan made her debut as Seven during the fourth season of Star Trek: Voyager, and went on to be a featured character on the series. As a former Borg drone, Seven gradually established her own identity by the time Voyager wrapped up.

Additionally, Jonathan Del Arco shared a Star Trek: Picard teaser image that features a first look at his character, Hugh. During Star Trek: The Next Generation, Del Arco played a Borg drone named Hugh who learned how to be an individual from the crew. TVLine debuted the picture of Hugh, who still has a few scars from his time as a Borg. But he looks like he’s come a long way.
