The Smashing Pumpkins have finally made good on all the teasers and announced a tour.

Billy Corgan has reunited with classic lineup members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, plus late-2000s guitarist Jeff Schroeder, to hit the road for the “Shiny and Oh So Bright” tour this summer.

They will be "celebrating songs from their first 5 albums from Gish to Machina," "exclusively" playing music from those albums, according to a press release.

The announcement comes after weeks of drama involving former bassist D’arcy Wretzky. Although the band claimed they asked her to re-join the group “repeatedly,“ she called that claim “a complete lie.“

Wretzky also said of Corgan, “I honestly think he may have a brain tumor. He’s always been insufferable.”
