A UFO and paranormal investigator claims the history books may have to be rewritten after “finding two pyramids” submerged near the Bahamas.
Scott C Waring revealed his “finding” on his website UFO Sightings Daily.
He said he found them just 6.6km south of New Providence Island in the Bahamas.
He found them by zooming in on the location with Google Earth, which allows users to explore the globe from the comfort of their armchairs, Dailystar.co.uk reports.
Using Google measurement calculations, he estimates the “structures” to be 100m wide and 60m high.
He blogged: “I found these two pyramids on the ocean floor near New Providence Island. That is not far from Florida.
“The pyramids lines are easy to make out and are proof that the nearby island was once inhabited by an ancient Mayan or Aztec like people.

“The two pyramids are not the same. One is a perfect three sided structure.
“The other has a mid layer where it had a step like area before it made it to the top. This one is very similar to Mayan pyramids in Mexico.”
Mr Waring went on to make the leap that the pyramids could be from a mysterious ancient civilisation, or even built by aliens.
Many UFO believers speculate that because there are mysteries around how the ancient pyramids in Egypt were built, they may have been aided by superior beings from outer space.
Mr Waring added: “No, it’s not a UFO or alien sighting, but how do we know that these ancient structures were not built 50-100 million years ago?
“We don't. They could be the oldest known structures on Earth, and yet, lay unexplored in shallow water.

Some viewers were left gobsmacked by his claims.
One said: “Very good find, hats off to the person who discovered them.”
Another viewer said: “Hell yeah I’m going scuba diving in Nassau and now I have an exact coordinate to dive to.”
A third added: “I doubt they were made by aliens lol. Still very cool though.”
Mr Waring is notorious among UFO circles for his outlandish claims of what he has found in NASA images of Mars and other planets.
These have included claims of pictures of live animals, including a giant mouse, baboons and a bear.
