***** DARK SHADOWS FEATURE-LENGTH DOCUMENTARY COMES IN 2018
Among the most anticipated events is the debut of the brand-new, full-length documentary.
SHADOWGRAM Official DS News Online Update # 402 recently premiere-announced that the documentary details the complete history of DS, along with the story of series creator/executive producer Dan Curtis. Numerous DS personnel and others also share their DS memories and connections.
A premiere screening of the theatrical documentary will be held sometime in 2018 for fans and DS personnel to attend. Dates, locations, and confirmed details will continue to be premiere-announced through these SHADOWGRAM Official Updates.

A VERY SPECIAL DARK SHADOWS MUSICAL SNOW GLOBE TO BE AVAILABLE IN 2018
MPI will continue to issue new DS merchandise in 2018, highlighted by a musical Snow Globe with a detailed interior model of the iconic “Collinwood” mansion from the original daytime TV series. The globe will play the classic "Quentin's Theme" (“Shadows of the Night”) melody.
---- NEW DS AUDIO DRAMAS WITH DS STORIES, PERFORMED BY ORIGINAL DS CAST MEMBERS
Big Finish Productions (BFP) continues releasing more of its series of DS audio dramas on CD and download. Each new story is rooted in the original daytime TV series and is recorded by many of the original DS actors and various guest cast members. Sound effects, music, and the actors’ talents enable listeners to imagine the stories playing on their TV screens as extensions of the show itself. Please enjoy all these “further tales from Collinsport.”
---- NEWEST Release from Big Finish: "Shadows of the Night," a 2-CD collection of short stories performed by Nancy Barrett, James Storm and Chris Pennock.

www.bigfinish.com **** NEW DELUXE BOOK WITH COMPLETE DS NEWSPAPER COMIC STRIPS (1971-1972)
Hermes Press is finishing a deluxe book to feature the complete 1971-72 DS daily newspaper comic strips. These have been digitally restored and are presented in their entirety. The book includes full-color Sunday editions with all of the story panels. (A previous black-and-white-only reprint of the newspaper strips offered incomplete versions of the expanded Sunday strips.)
SHADOWGRAM will provide future Update reports with confirmed information about the book. Its anticipated publication is for Spring/Summer, 2018.
