***** UPDATING: NEW DARK SHADOWS DOCUMENTARY FILM & UPCOMING MERCHANDISE
ShadowGram is pleased to announce: Following over a year of production, the Dark Shadows (DS) documentary film from MPI Media Group is nearing completion.
The project covers the complete history of DS and includes the story of series creator/executive producer Dan Curtis, as told by friends, family and associates.
Alongside remarks and reminiscences from DS actors and production personnel, the documentary also offers commentary from longtime Curtis collaborator and screenwriter William F. Nolan (“Burnt Offerings,” “Trilogy of Terror,” “Turn of the Screw), Academy Award-winning "True Blood" producer Alan Ball, and original DS celebrity fan Whoopi Goldberg.
More details, including the title of the documentary, will be announced soon,
as well as when it will premiere in 2018 with a special theatrical screening for DS fans.
Prior to the release of the documentary, MPI is preparing a variety of new DS merchandise. These include a first-ever DS umbrella – to shade the sun as well as shield from the rain! Some items will be announced soon and will be available for sale prior to the holiday gift season.
**** DARK SHADOWS’ HALLOWEEN FUN ON VARIOUS PLATFORMS
This year's “haunting season" will be celebrated with DS being available on multiple broadcast, cable, and digital platforms.

---- National over-the-air digital channel Decades will offer another binge of early Barnabas episodes, These will air on Saturday, October 28; Sunday, October 29; and early Monday, October 30.
---- Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will screen both of the M-G-M movies, each based on the original TV series. "House of Dark Shadows" (1970) and "Night of Dark Shadows" (1971) are scheduled back-to-back for Saturday, October 28, at 4:15 and 6:00 P.M. Eastern/Pacific Time, respectively.

Big Finish Productions (BFP) continues its impressive release schedule of DS audio dramas with the 4-CD set "The Tony & Cassandra Mysteries." starring Lara Parker as Angelique (alias Cassandra) and Jerry Lacy as Tony Peterson. These 4 new stories are complete with original DS music by Robert Cobert.
Coming next from Big Finish is a new 4-CD set starring David Selby and Kathryn Leigh Scott as Quentin Collins and Maggie Evans.
Each of these evocative original DS audio dramas expands and explores the TV series, its characters, and storylines. Every new tale is recorded by many of the cast and various guest cast members.
