I don't even know why Comey was allowed to lead the alleged "investigation" into Hillary's server to begin with... Other than the fact that the whole damned system has been so corrupt, for so long, which I do believe to be the case.

Comey and Clinton's?...

- "Comey’s first brush with them came when Bill Clinton was president. [...] In 1996, after months of work, Comey came to some damning conclusions: Hillary Clinton was personally involved in mishandling documents and had ordered others to block investigators as they pursued their case. Worse, her behavior fit into a pattern of concealment: she and her husband had tried to hide their roles in two other matters under investigation by law enforcement. Taken together, the interference by White House officials, which included destruction of documents, amounted to “far more than just aggressive lawyering or political naiveté,” Comey and his fellow investigators concluded. It constituted “a highly improper pattern of deliberate misconduct.”

Early in the Clinton Email Server Scandal, Ed Klein called Comey today's Eliot Ness!

- "Current FBI Director James Comey is heading up the probe, whom Klein called "the Eliot Ness, the untouchable of our time."

- "Leave it to James Comey," Klein said. "He'll get it right."

Eliot MESS is more like it... Now you know not to listen to Klein.

We all know what happened, including the Phoenix tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton and A.G. Loretta Lynch, follwed a few days later with Comey publicly clearing Hillary.

But now it turns out that Comey began writing the draft for that Clinton "get out of jail free" public announcement as early as May 2016... well BEFORE the FBI had interview as many as 17 witnesses, or Hillary herself...

- "... transcripts of interviews with people close to Comey and provided by the Department of Justice's Office of Special Counsel (OSC). Those transcripts, the Republicans said in a Thursday letter to current FBI Director Chris Wray, show Comey had already drafted a conclusion for his investigation before interviewing 17 key witnesses, including Clinton, and before the DOJ had reached immunity agreements with former Clinton aides Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson."

- "Conclusion first, fact-gathering second—that's no way to run an investigation," the senators said in their letter to Wray."

- "Another transcript, described as what appears to be an interview with Trisha Anderson, principal deputy general counsel of national security and cyberlaw for the FBI, quotes the interview subject saying, “The idea, I’m not entirely sure exactly when the idea of the public statement um first emerged. Um it was, I just, I can’t put a precise time frame on it um but [redaction]. And then I believe it was in early May of 2016 that the director himself wrote a draft of that statement.”
