It has now been 25 years since Steve Feltham dedicated his life to hunting down the Loch Ness Monster.
Originally from Dorset, the 53-year-old began his search for the world's most famous lake monster back in 1991 after being fascinated by the possibility of its existence his whole life.

Having given up his house, his job and his girlfriend to focus on finding the elusive beast, he now lives in a mobile home which is parked on a permanent basis on the shores of the loch at Dores.

Despite never finding any conclusive evidence to prove that the creature exists, Feltham is certainly not deterred and vows to continue his record-breaking vigil for many years to come.

"I look at 25 years as a good halfway mark in trying to solve this," he said. "I am willing to dedicate another 25 years. Hopefully it will only take another few weeks. Who knows?"

An archived local news report covering his time at the loch can be viewed below.
