This recording allegedly captures the spooky moment the ghost of a DEAD DOG started to bark.

Paranormal investigator Paul Rowland who recorded the eerie event said there was "no logical explanation" for a canine barking.

More than 10 people, including team members Jean Gibson and Marcus Rheade-Edwards, were present when the audio was made during a seance at Plas Teg in Pontblyddyn.

Paul, of Paradox Paranormal, told the Daily Post: “The group were sat in the Regency Room around a table with a spirit board, but were getting virtually no results and getting quite frustrated.

“There was a suggestion to put the recording box on the table and they called out for spirits to come forward.

“About 10 minutes later, it started making chirping noises and all of a sudden there was this dog barking.”

Paranormal investigator Paul Rowland, of Paradox Paranormal, claims he made a recording of the ghost of a dog barking

Paul, who designed the recording equipment himself to “bridge the gap between the spirit world and our world”, said he has never captured something so clear.

He said: “It is quite unusual to get something so clear and to record something like this is really amazing.

“There is no logical explanation for why a dog would be barking.

“There were no dogs in the house and it can’t have come from outside as the nearest road is 300 metres away.”

It’s not Paul’s first paranormal experience in the mansion, having captured what he claims is a photo of ghost child – not just once, but twice.

He captured the misty outline of a child on top of the landing of the house in 2007 and 2011.

“It is the height of a child, and appeared in virtually the same spot both times,” he said.

“I know for sure it was not a human being.”

The Jacobean mansion, built by Sir John Trevor in 1610, is said to be one of the most haunted buildings in Wales.

It is believed that Sir John Trevor the fifth haunts the Regency Room.

If legend is to be believed, he found his wife was having an affair and, in his despair, rode his horse and trap around the grounds until it overturned.

He was carried to the Regency Room, where he died about a month later.

Visitors to Plas Teg have reported seeing tables rock, objects move, mysterious lights and sounds and even something touching them.

In 2006, pop group Girls Aloud braved Plas Teg for the ITV2 show “Ghosthunting With Girls Aloud”.

Leading the girls through their spine-chilling experience was Most Haunted presenter Yvette Fielding and, within minutes, they heard mysterious knocks.

Even feisty singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was reduced to tears, claiming a ghost had touched her arm.

Plas Teg is reportedly home to many ghosts including 16-year-old Dorothy Trevor, the daughter of the original owner, who is said to have fallen in love with Iorwerth, a farmer’s son.

When her family disapproved, they decided to elope.

The eery scene in Plas Teg in Pontblyddyn

Dorothy took her jewels and buried them near a well, but fell in and drowned.

Thinking she had stood him up, Iorwerth hanged himself.

The couple’s ghosts have been spotted wandering the grounds, including on the A541, where the road cuts through the mansion’s former driveway.

Another apparition said to haunt the mansion is Elizabeth Trevor-Roper, who died aged 16 in 1815.

It’s thought that two men had fallen for her, and the one she turned down killed the other in a fit of rage before chasing Elizabeth back to the house.

There was a struggle and she either slipped or was pushed down the well.
