I've seen the first 5 episodes and I have to say it's not too bad. I'm enjoying it, enough to keep watching, there are some decent subplots to keep the story moving. It doesn't really feel like Scream, but it has most of the markings of the series like the phone calls, the horror geek, some of the self-awareness, enough that it'd be a rip off to call it anything else. But I'm not watching it as a Scream show, just a slasher/mystery show.
It's not top television, but I think it's good enough and as a slasher fan I can't resist (even with the lack of slashings the last 2 eps).
Scream Queens looks to be more fun.
