Demons in our home

Hello everyone, this is my first post on here.

I am sharing my experience regarding evil spirits/demons, in hope to find answers to how and why myself and my family are going through such things in our lives for the past three to four years. I will start from the beginning.

I met my wife seven years ago, we had dated for a while and I later moved in with her. Around eighteen months later her two children (age between six and ten years) started telling us that they have been experiencing strange things happening; e.g. seeing shadows moving and hearing  sounds like beads dropping around in their bedroom. We did not think too much of it at the time, as  we thought it was just their imagination.

One morning my wife and daughter heard an exhale sound which seemed to have come from the other side of the kitchen door, so it must have been pretty loud for them to hear it. They also saw a little white ball drop from the ceiling in the kitchen and fall to the  floor and they even heard it make a sound as it dropped, but there was no ball on the floor for we searched and could not find anything.
The following night my wife and me were having a chat in our bedroom and got distracted by a strange exhale sound across the room; we thought it may have been something to do with pipes that are in the airing cupboard which is next to the bedroom.  By that time we were getting concerned.

My wife lived in this house with her ex husband since it was built which was around 14 years ago and nobody had ever experienced anything that may have been spirit related in this house. They were the first people to live in this house, as the house was built for them and they moved in.

Anyway, a few days later, while going to sleep, I heard tapping and banging on the walls which were followed by a couple of exhale sounds and voices. The exhales and voices started to increase as time went on, and it seemed like I was the main target of it all even though my wife experienced some things herself; but not as much as myself.

We decided to tell the people in our church about the things that were happening in our house and they arranged for two men to come and  bless/anoint our home. Before these men came over I decided to record audio of tapping/banging and exhales sounds so that these men can hear what we have been hearing here daily.  I set the recording devices in our bedroom and we both agreed to not talk while we were recording, we waited for a hour or two and heard no taps or exhales at all, so we decided to end the recording and go to bed. The next day out of curiosity we played back the recording and we were shocked by what we heard has been recorded. The recoding was that of what seemed our voices, basically us two having a conversation, but we said not a word..and the voices were not really ours, you could tell they were imitations of our voices. What was recorded really shocked us, as we do no speak in such foul language and do not use swear words, the voice which was imitating my wife's voice said in sexual way and with anger:  'IF THEY WANNA **** and at the end of the conversation we heard what we describe as a demonic voice say 'Better voices never sleep'.

I continued to record audio everyday and on one occasion what was recorded seemed to be spirits and demons fighting with each other. They were shouting in foreign language, also the sounds of someone being strangled and a loud laughter too.  On another occasion, the recording contained more imitations of our voices and also other strange voices including what we describe as demonic voices talking in foreign language and we could hear the voices making threats to kill me.

When the men from our church came over they were not keen to listen to any recordings; which was little disappointing to us, as we hoped that they would listen to understand what we have been subjected too. They just blessed/anointed our home. The following night I again heard tappings, voices and exhales which continued day and night.

We anointed/blessed our home ourselves a few times and I tried casting them out in the name of Jesus on many occasions, yet the demons exhaled back at me most of the time. We had things go missing and the found them somewhere else where we have no put them, we all heard strange footsteps sometimes in the house and doors shutting sounds as well. Our son's bedroom starting smelling of sulfur for months; we had piping, sewage, repair men come over countless times and nobody could identify where the smell was coming from and what the problem was.  Far too many strange things happened for me to even mention.

By now we were getting married and our wedding witness had a freak accident by tripping and falling in his home and died a little while later, although he was old and had health problems we still found it very strange. Our engagement rings kept disappearing and we have never found them at all. My wife had her wedding ring which her ex bought her, which meant nothing to her, but being gold she thought she would sell it one day, anyway, she kept it in a little jewellery box on a chest of drawers in our bedroom, and one day she found that ring underneath our bed; right in the middle,  which we found very strange; for the ring could not fall out and roll under the bed, as we kept some stuff under the bed which would prevent the ring to roll under.

Then two weeks before our wedding my wife fell ill and was so unwell that we thought we will even have to postpone our wedding date, but fortunately she recovered in time. The night before our big day demons were exhaling above my wife while she was asleep. My wife's relative who stayed with us for a week during the time of the wedding told us when she returned back home that she didn't want to tell us at the time; but that she found bite marks on her upper thighs and felt unwell in our home. One day my wife found chicken bones dug up from a large flower pot outside our front door, which seemed like someone buried them and a animal dug them up. My sleep is being disturbed, I have trouble falling asleep and when I do, I have a lot of nightmares. A lot of things still continue to this day.

We have started to believe that someone has done something, perhaps summoned demons to torment me so that I leave my wife? Or could there be another reason why we are subjected to all this; me being the main victim.

We do suspect a few people may have reasons to do something against us, but we have no proof that either of these people has in fact done something.

No.1 My wife's ex husband, for he was very possessive and did hope that he would get back with my wife one day. He did not like the idea of me being around his ex wife at all and even took my wife to court over arrangements for children, and lost the case with the court ordering he is not even allowed to have any direct contact due to his mental instability; for he was a pervert who fell in love with his 13 year old niece when he was in his 40s. There was no need for him to take my wife to court over the arrangement for the children, as she always let him see his children, but he hated the fact that i used to come along with her when we brought the children to see him in the library. He just had to stir trouble. He is a self proclaiming Christian but we question his desperate motives.

No. My wife's childhood male friend who lives in a different country, but who had contact with her as a friend only. He used to chat with my wife prior to me meeting my wife and that sort of reduced when I met her, but he hated the idea of me being around her as well, and on one occasion he sent me a threatening message saying if I do not treat her well I will be in trouble with him. When my wife went to visit her family abroad; she also visited his mum as she knew the whole family, for they grew up together and he came to his mum's with his family too and he gave a lot of items to her and the children; things like beaded necklaces which him and his wife used to make, for they were into making jewellery. She would use stone beads, while he used to use bones from reindeer and horns from reindeer. He also gave my wife's son a reindeer skull; which he told my wife was clean and sterilised as has been cooked, a procedure they use to kill all the bacteria etc. Now this man defines himself as pagan, and he goes to the woods with his friends where they do their own things, not sure what exactly, but they seem to do some rituals. Another strange thing that happened was sudden death of his wife, who apparently died from asthma attack at work, she forgot to take her inhaler to work, that was what his mother told my wife over Skype. And another strange thing happened that his mother was in contact with my wife for all these years suddenly cuts all contact with my wife after she hears that she got engaged to me. And after he emailed her once and found out she was happily married he never got in touch ones. He has since remarried but his life is a mess, and wonder if he was in any was responsible for anything.

I hope that some of you are able to help us by giving some insight into these things we have been experiencing and tell us from your own experience and knowledge is we have been subjected to a curse, spell or something else. Thank you in advance for the input.

I don't suppose you could post a link to any of the recordings?

Myself, I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe in evil entities, which could very well be what you have going on. I'd not give up on Blessing the house though, but also you should get yourselves blessed, as the entity could be attached to a person and not the house. Though the noises seem to be focused around you, that does not mean the entity is focused on you. It could just as easily be your wife or someone else living in the house.

Where either of the two men who came over a trained Minister/Pastor/Priest? If not, then they may not have actually understood what they were facing and not have treated the situation correctly. Most Pastor/Minster/Priests have a open door policy, so I'd go around to visit a half dozen or so of different denominations and see what each thinks and ask all of them to come to your house and see if they can help you.

Another angle to check is to have your house checked for hidden devices. Almost anyone who has some technical know how can rig up a series of speakers/receivers/transmitters out of stuff from any electronics store and put it behind a wall, or multiple walls. If the ex-husband was motivated enough he may have set up a hidden sound system to try to scare the crud out of you all. Such devices could even be hidden behind paintings, under tables, etc... And controlled from a car a block away. Or even set to run automatically.

I, by no means, am an expert, so take this with a grain of salt. When I was first reading your description it sounded like a poltergeist which from what I understand is activity that starts from a person living in the house that may have 'abilities' or from repressed emotions of someone. But can escalate into sounds, movement of objects and very often the rapping type noises. Although later in your story it did sound like demonic activity. Entities can be attached to land not just structures. And also if someone has 'abilities' and not know how to protect or shield themselves or doesn't even realize it, things, ghosts or entities can follow them and attach to them. I'm only guessing based on your story and my limited knowledge. But one thing I would say for sure is to NOT try to contact it on your own. I would contact a reputable medium to advice me, if I were you. And I have heard that sometimes with strong entities you have to anoint or bless your home on a regular basis, like once a week or month. But find a person who can reveal to you what you are dealing with and help you.

I agree with DieChecker that the Minister/Pastor/Priest may be the best way to go, before a medium.

Thank you for your response and input.

I will have a look if there is a way for me to upload the recordings and will upload some of the ones I have. We did delete quite a few as we did not think anyone would be interested in listening to them. 

We do not believe in ghosts either, but like yourself do believe in evil entities and this is what we feel we are dealing with. It is a good point you made, that we should perhaps continue to bless the house and even get blessed ourselves. Do you suggest this be done by a pastor/minister? We would have to find someone we trust as we have sort of had our trust shaken in ministers and churches after these things took place, for the things started to happen while we were attending this new church. We do not blame the church, but that we have not had concerns about a few individuals I could not say this is not the case.

You have made a very good point about the entity being attached to the person and not the house, and we will have to seek help regarding this.

The man who came to pray over and anoint the house was a youth leader in our church. We are not sure if what he did he did properly though. Another man who came was an evangelist, but he did not anoint the house, but only prayed and he refused to listen to the recording. We were sort of let down by the church as they never really wanted to be involved, and the leadership was not involved at all. The church did not have a pastor, just the team of elders, but none of them came, but sent a youth leader. Now, this could be the reason as they felt he was the person with more insight for he was of African origin and had insight into spiritual matters, while the rest of the people in church may not have been so experienced. The man who did come claimed he has cast many demons, been attacked by them even etc..we are not sure if we could believe everything he claimed though and some of his claims seemed little over exegarated to us.

We will have to find someone experienced enough to help us in this as we find this too deep to resolve ourself. It is not only a matter of faith here, as we did all we can believing but still no change.

Regarding my wife's ex and hidden devices; he would not have been able to install anything like that, as he is not that skilled to do that, and he has not had access to the house after 2007, and I moved in in 2009, and there was no sound proir to that. I am very much familiar with the sound system and tech as I myself deal with music recordings, and these sort of sounds we have heard and recorded are in my opinion not something created by humans at all.

Thank you for your reply. I am familiar with the poltergeist activities and yes both my wife and myself are of an opinion we are dealing with demonic activity and we would not try to contact the spirits etc.; the only methods we would and do use is prayer against such things and anointing the house. We do need someone to help us understand a little more though and have decided to write in the forum to see if anyone could give us some imput as regards to what we are dealing with, but yes the best way to tackle this is to find a minister who is experienced in these things. Our trust has been a little shaken after we have been let down as I mentioned, so we need to muster strength to approach another minister. Thank you once again.
