**** The commemorative DS 50th Anniversary Celebration presented by the Dark Shadows Festival / Dark Shadows Official Fan Club will be held for the 50th Year weekend, Friday-Sunday, June 24-26, 2016. Programming will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown, NY (north of Manhattan on the eastern shore of the Hudson River).

Weekend activities will be at the Doubletree Hotel, Tarrytown, NY (25 miles north of Midtown Manhattan on the eastern shore of the Hudson River).
As we approach this special event, ShadowGram will announce attending-membership ticket prices and other information and news. The Fest later will send out a general postal-mailing to everyone on the Fest’s postal-mailing list, with a descriptive flyer, membership form, and other information.

**** UPDATING: JOHN KARLEN
ShadowGram is happy to relay the news that JOHN (Willie, Carl, William H Loomis, Desmond, Kendrick) has been feeling better. He celebrated with a healthy and tasty organic vegan lunch with DS co-star DAVID SELBY, his wife Chip, and DS Festival director Jim Pierson of Dan Curtis Productions this past Saturday, June 27. That date marked the 49th anniversary of DS’ debut episode on ABC-TV.
As ShadowGram has reported, John has experienced a number of health challenges in the past few years. These have prevented him from attending recent Dark Shadows Festival events. However, he is very much looking forward to joining us at the 50th Anniversary gathering June 24-26, 2016 at the Double Tree Hotel in Tarrytown, NY. (See above)
