Hello Arcturus , it seems impossible that so long that google maps are available, and i'll ask you ,if you never seen this image , Madeira Island left side sattelite image:

Not really sure that this particular image proves anything, although I have long thought Madeiras bears some relationship with Atlantis. Can you enlarge it a little?

Hello Arcturus , it seems that you haven't seen the real size of the image , for your knoledge , the image it's 1/4 of the total size of the whole island.

Hello, my friend FLOR_DE_LIS. Well, it looks like one of those ocean topography maps with, as an earlier comment was made, of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Now Madeiras, the Canaries and Azores have long been linked to Atlantis, but I do think that there needs to be something more than that. Have you found anymore definitive proof?

Hi Arcturus , as you have notice ther's something in the deep of Funchal Bay , but this objects/structures are 5 km in the deep , it's seems that only with the best equipment we can see better what we're talking about , of course this is based only in speculations, but not only, as we have seen there is even something in the bottom.
The most fantastic of the google images, is that there is a circle-shaped star, as the circles of ATLANTIS, in the previous attached photo, did you see her?

For those of you that place much credence in the circles, and it seems that these circles is a must for any speculation to be considered a serious one as to locating Atlantis, have you also, carefully, considered the origin of these circles? Where not these circles said to be the work of the god Poseidon? And were not these circles (much as moats for the defense of a castle or town) created to defend the center island and habitation of the god's bride and off-spring? Protected from whom? Were they not made when sailing and ships were not yet, so as to be effective as defense? And even if ships and sailing were already in vogue, how were those ships to get to the center island when land was in the way? Does not this very statement of, "ships and sailing not yet" clearly alludes to and indicate a time when man was in its primitive stage and not gifted, yet, with any kind of knowledge worth speaking of? Well, next, one has to ask oneself, how can primitive man, one that has not even ventured past the shallow shore lines of the seas, go about engineering those perfect circles, both of land and water? And where did the water come from and how was it brought to the circles that will contain it, since the canals from the extensive 10,000 stadia long circular ditch and from the sea were not connected to the circles until, as implied, long after?

I think you need to read the dialogues more thoroughly, as Plato clearly mentions a central canal leading from the ocean, through the circles, to the capital city.
