What is a human monkey?

How good of you to ask!  A human monkey would be one of of our evolutionary  ancestors such as Australopithecus, this is how he looked:



This creature is commonly accepted as one of man's descendents.

Now, if you look at this diagram, there are many such monkeys before human beings arrived on the scene fairly recently:

We were already evolved more than 10,000 years ago. 

As you can see from the diagram, we were still evolving more than 10,000 years ago, we were not evolved to what we are now. Homo Sapiens (us, I misspoke earlier when I labelled us Cro-Magnon, another distinct species), didn't appear until fairly recently, tens of thousand years ago, and, only 20 to 10,000 years ago did the evolution of light skin appear in Europeans, in effect making, "us."
