Course in Foreshore and Underwater Archaeology

    17 August 2014 9am-5pm *on now

This three day course offers the chance to learn more about the practices and principles of maritime archaeology. It is aimed at both divers and non-divers, people working in the fishing industry, researchers, students, and others interested in heritage.

The course will include a practical element open to both divers and non-divers, involving the completion of a survey of a site at the Churchill Barriers. In this participants will directly contribute to the ongoing monitoring of wartime remains in Scapa Flow.
