UFO over Bremen Airport on 6 January 2014

Some additions:

Flight LH 360, an Airbus A 319 of the Lufthansa, scheduled to start from Frankfurt airport to Bremen airport on 6 January at 21:30 CET, was also cancelled.

Flight LH 2118, the Airbus A 319 that was redirected to Hanover airport, was scheduled to start at 21:40 CET. Its start from Munich airport was delayed to 22:24 CET and it landed at Bremen airport at 23:19 CET.

Another UFO eyewitness was Dominique Höber from Gröpelingen, according to whom the UFO made noise and had red and green lights.

The information that the UFO was not seen on the radar of the Luftwaffe is from Thorsten Weber, spokesman of the Luftwaffe.

The wind speed was 14 knots (at 17:50, 18:20 and 18:50) and 13 knots (at 19:20 CET).

A police helicopter of the type D-HPNC (Phoenix 93) of the Hubschrauberstaffel Niedersachsen, located in Neusüdende, Kreis Ammerland was ordered. It had instruments to search for infrared light. Its pilot was Alexander Pfirrmann. The search over Bremen lasted for 75 minutes, from 19:30 CET until 20:45 CET. The crew has not detected the UFO.

It is likely that the UFO seen at 18:31 CET by both the two policemen and the air-traffic controller was flight LH 356.

Some people say that the UFO seen by Dominique Höber and by policemen at Werdersee at 19:20 CET was Lufthansa flight LH5MM.

Other UFO sightings may refer to the police helicopter.

Nevertheless, the first sightings by the air-traffic controller between 18:09 CET and approximately 18:20 CET remain mysterious, a drone (octocopter) is a possible explanation.
