People cry about Denver's altitude (5000 ft). To qualify to the World Cup. All South American countries play each other (home & away) and one of those games is playing Bolivia in La Paz at 12,000ft above sea level.

Boulder is only at about 5430. Actually Alma, CO is higher than Leadville.
