Photos of Hollywood A-Lister Scarlett Johansson leaked to the Internet last week, showing off her naturally endowed assets in their full glory, but they were promptly removed -- from most sites, at least
The photos, showcasing Johansson's backside and bare chest, were met with the starlet's legal muscle.
The actress's lawyer, Marty Singer, sent cease-and-desist letters to the sites that posted the pictures. It is believed the pictures were stolen from her cellphone by hackers.
"The highly personal and private photographs at issue capture our client self-posing in her own home in a state of undress and/or ****," the letter said. "If you fail to comply, you will be acting at your own peril."
Most mainstream sites took down the content, including PerezHilton.com and traditional news sites.
But despite the warning, there are a few sites still hosting the pictures. Gawker's Fleshbot.com and Live Journal's Oh No They Didn't, as well as free daily, Metro. Several smaller blogs are still hosting them as well.

A hacker-ring that reportedly targets celebrity cell phones is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
The group has hacked cell phones of other female celebrities including Mila Kunis, Jessica Alba and Vanessa Hudgens.
