Thanks Trent

I was pretty disappointed in the way this looks here, its really compressed, all the detail is lost...

It's not from a live model, Venus politely refused to sit for me, this along with other small snubs over the years, has me beginning to think she dislikes me.

Nice colors!

I have a gripe, though!

The first thing a male artist does when painting a female subject..?

Rip off her clothes!

All artists are pervs at heart!!

Hi Carolyn

Oh I love the female form, I have been studying it diligently for years and have just barely scatched the surface of it's mysteries and wonders.

"All artists are pervs at heart!!"

I can't really answer for all the other artist's, but in general I'd say yes we are. Grin

Except perhaps, those who only do landscapes, but even they are suspect, if you ask me.

Wow, what nice work!  And such a diversity of styles, too.
I don't mind that male artists like to use the female form as an object of so many of their pieces.  I don't find it sexist, either, only romantic and beautiful.

I saw them, nice work!
You have a way with drawing women, it's like you venerate us.

Is the mummy picture a pencil drawing?

Hi Heather

Yes I do...venerate them,

I am one of the last few that remain of a dying breed of true romantics, a firm believer in chivalry.

It is better to believe in something noble, and be wrong-then to believe in something ignoble and be right.

The Obliate

Ancient grimoiries,
With their alchemist's stories,

Lead to a learning,
Of oddic forces a’churning.

Secrets lay hidden,
Nature's forces are bidden

The dark abyss calls,
Forbidden knowledge enthralls.

The rituals lure,
Into realms now impure,

Unnatural bound beings,
Tortured souls still screaming.

Maintain your control,
Guard that light airy soul.

A bane to our kind,
Beware of a curious mind.

Sweet little Mercy Caldwell

I like this one.

Reminds me of Poe.
