Of course fewer people got killed with swords but a lot of people were living in serfdom and lived under a Monarchy.

America was founded on more freedom from monarchy, and more gun liberty.

But hey if you want to live in an authoritarian haplophobic country then by all means leave America.

See here in America you are free to leave however get to an authoritarian haplophopbic country and the amount of freedom you'll have might not be at the same level.  Now you can be a freedom loving liberal in a an authoritarian country... it's contradictory !!!
