Tom is just way too enamored by Obama to see him for the phony he is.

No, not by Obama per se - he's quote ok. The enamorement of the general public, such as Tom, is carefully created by the elitist - who put their boys into the house, the senat and the oval office. Since the president elect waved a democratic flag, this time, the part of the public that voted for him - such as Tom - seem to feel that 'they' won a voice at the top-floor. Well, - looking at the way his administration keep running the wars he promised to stop - as well as starting new ones - we can't turn the blind eye to whats actually going on. "Democrat" or not - he is clearly not walking the walk he talked so much about in his campaign...
