I've seen more NY women get pregnant by their flings just for the express purpose of charging the government the expenses of having another kid.  There's no concept of family, or maintaining a relationship.  Just WAM, BAM, Thank You MA'AM, Hello Uncle SAM.

And, in your world, the guy shares in no responsibility for doing that? First off, I have never heard of a woman wanting to get pregnant to get government aid, which doesn't cover that much anyway.  Second, if it does happen, the first remedy the court suggests is that the guy pay child support, which seems fair.

Under Ron Paul these babies would be pulled from the gold-digger mothers and sent to live in a foster home where they could learn some real values.  The mother would be forced to learn a trade, get a job and prove her self-sufficiency if she ever wants to get the kid back.  Most of them will be too busy shacking up again or doing their drugs to ever bother trying to get their kid back but at least they won't be collecting welfare for it.

But yes ending welfare abuse and fraud is a big priority for Ron Paul.

I'd really like you to print the Ron Paul speech where he says that, because that is government involvement in personal freedom on a massive scale.

True but even libertarians come to a point where they cannot allow certain forms of corruption to continue.  6th  & 7th generation welfare families.  Pulling babies with maggot filled diapers from crack houses.  No thinking libertarian would allow for this.

I don't think any CPS/SVU funding will get cut under Ron Paul.

It sounds like you are investing plans in Ron Paul that you want him to do that he never said he would do.  You can't legislate morality and the President can only do so much, he ain't no dictator.

True.

However, Ron Paul is just the tip of the anti-Globalist sentiment.  Lech Walensa didn't solve all of Poland's woes when the Soviets lost its hold over them but, as the leader of the underground radio-solidarity movement he was able to get Poland back on track from the evils of Communism and now today Poland isn't suffering from the European Union's debt-slavery system.  What Ron Paul couldn't achieve in 1988 he will in 2012 cuz America has gotten so much worse since then.  The evils of the FED have accumilated since then and now America has to throw off the shackels of Globalism.

History, to a certain extent, is repeating itself.   Smiley

Yeah, but the President can only do what Congress will let him do.  And this Republican Congress wouldn't let him do squat.

I know we need to vote in more Libertarians, Constitutionalists and Greenies.

I am tired of just bi-partisan politics.  Why not tri-partisan, quadra-partisan or quinti-partisan ?

Because it is a waste of a vote. Third parties aren't going to get anywhere unless we have public financing of campaigns, which you Ron Paul supporters would be supporting if you had any brains.

The problem with public finance is having a workable system in which parties that reflect America are represented.

If you donated say $10 to a public finance fund and we had Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Greenies, Reform, Socialists, Communists, Neo-Nazi, Dixiecrats.

Then each dollar would go to each party.

I can tell you which party I do support and the ones I don't but I wouldn't want the government taking my money and giving it to parties I don't support.

I would rather give the full $10 to the Constitution Party rather than giving $1 to each.

I know we need a better system than the duopoly system we got now.

The problem is the media monopoly engaging in active discrimination against 3rd parties.

CNN allowed Lou Dobbs 2 minutes and 42 seconds at the end of his broadcast to interview Chuck Baldwin while giving McCain & Obama the other 45+ minutes.

Thank God for youtube & hulu.

I think you're missing the whole point of campaign finance reform.  First off, it is not there so the party of your choice gets your money, we have that now! It is so individual politicians don't have to go begging people for money soi THEY AREN'T BEHOLDEN TO ANYBODY.  Therefore, they can theoretically do what is in the best interest of the country and not for some greedy millionaire who just wants another tax code loophole. In that way, it doesn't matter which party you donate to because theoretically everyone will be more honest,
