Cindy Crawford Supporting Mitt Romney?

The Huffington Post  Hilary Moss  First Posted: 05/17/11 03:06 PM ET Updated: 05/17/11 03:48 PM ET

Supermodel Cindy Crawford is now wearing her politics on her sleeve, seemingly coming out in support of potential Republican candidate for president Mitt Romney.

The Daily Caller notes that Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom Tweeted on Monday, "Cindy Crawford appears in a demonstration video at Romney call day to show people how to use ComMitt fundraising software," referring to a Las Vegas phone banking event.

A representative for Crawford told The Hill, "She is friendly with Romney's son," but didn't specify which one or whether she would back a Romney bid.

Crawford was previously on Team Obama, the New York Post notes: "Federal Election Commission records show that Crawford, married to businessman and former model Rande Gerber, donated $4,600 -- the maximum amount permissible for a couple at that time -- to Obama in August 2008." Check that out on Fundrace.

Well, that's what happens when you give somewone some money.  They can no longer relate to average people and they become Republicans!

Yeah what's Cindy Crawford going to say about joblessness and poverty and banking reform ?

At least Mary Starret can talk intelligently about national issues.

Cindy has never been poor or worried about having a job, so she could give a crap about banking reform or joblessness.
