I'd like to begin with the remake of V.  Just saw the whole season one the other night and and man was it a disappointment!

Light on action or drama, stereotypical characters and bad acting. Stick with the original!

Lame to the extreme, this English 'sci-fi' miniseries has to be one of the worst sci-fi shows I have seen in the last year. Fred Ward is the only American in an otherwise all-English cast that reacts nonchalantly to even the most extreme events of this dull series. It is from the late 90s, but bad make-up, cheap special effects and languid acting all combine to make this one of your crummiest sci-fi experiences!

Stay clear of it!

Although NOT related to sci-fi, I have to agree with George Takei that Twilight is one of the lamest series out there, totally derivative of both Anne Rice and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Every character involved in that series deserves to be staked.  Cheesy

99% of the shows on Sci-Fi are the worst series and movies out there.

I could run a better Sci-Fi network.

I would call it Zy-Fi and I would run a lot more action based movies.  Not the morbid soap operas set in the future that Sy-Fy puts out.

I agree that V was a disappointment. It could have been a lot better.  The new series Continuum on Sy-fy looks promising.

There's nothing good ever on Sy-Fy and the Comedy Channel is never funny.

Amazing that internet media hasn't become more dominant.

Why don't you just stop watching TV? I dumped my cable a year ago and I don't even miss it, saved lots of money, too! You can get the news from the internet after all.
