I firmly believe that time, as a whole, is a man made construct. As such, why must your previous lives all be "past" lives. I realise that the majority of the issue may come down to not having the adequate terminology. Nevertheless, how can one describe "past" lives, that may actually have taken place in our future? Is it possible?

I think that it is entirely possible, that your past life may have taken place 1,000 years in the future, from the present, while the life before that may have taken place 1,000 years in the past, from the present.

What do you think?

Hi Jake,

I'm not sure what you're driving at here.  Is there a problem with past lives remaining in the past?  It seems like a very useful idea to me.

This is a wonderful question. Love it. Have you read the Seth books by Jane Roberts? If not, you should. There you'll find your answers. Seth says all lives are simultaneous. Sequential time occurs only in this lifetime. Otherwise, it does not exist.

I'm not sure how to explain this, as I haven't read my Seth books for a while. but we all have an oversoul that oversees each of our incarnations in which we have different personalities -- kind of like a puppeteer who is manipulating maybe 20 or more puppets on each of 40 or more different stages, all by remote control.

Each one is affecting the lives of all the others. So yes, something you do now and here can affect a live in your so-called past. Remember that "history" is being revised all the time and I believe this is why. It really does change.

It's all fluid and circular, unlike our rigid sequential time here. Your "past" and "future" lives are all happening at once and all your selves are interacting through your oversoul.

Well, you probably think I am certifiably insane because this whole thing makes sense to me -- far more so than rigid sequential time.

What if you get thoughts telepathically transferred from a future time via a tachyon wave to the present.

That final Star Trek TNG episode had some erie truths to it.

Well, that wouldn't be necessary because the "future" is right now in reality. It just seems to be in the future according to the sequential time of this world. You can interact with a future self or others in the future -- and probably do this in dreams.

Lews Carroll thought that dreams were the actual reality, while this life was just kind of a blip on the larger radar screen. I have always always loved the Alice books, which I still believe contain far more wisdom than anyone ever credits.

I used to identify with Alice as a child because I had experiences so much like hers. Sometimes I would wake up and feel that I was absolutely huge or absolutely tiny and was afraid to even open my eyes, let alone get our of bed.

And being a migraine person, I felt that a lot of what Carroll described as Alice's experiences were identical to what I experience with migraines sometimes.

I have read of an "oversoul" also.  It seems if you are trying to do something and need a little help, just ask, and if the oversoul agrees with what you're trying to do, you get a helping hand.  Whether it's in the form of finding information, or improving yourself or whatever.

An open-minded view of the past allows for an unprejudiced glimpse into the future.
