Home of Lizzie Borden in Fall River, Massachusetts



On August 4, 1892, Lizzie Borden’s father and step mother were both murdered. They were both killed with an axe – and their daughter Lizzie was and remains the most likely suspect. Acquitted of the murders, Lizzie lived out the rest of her life in Fall River and is buried there. The home that she shared with her father and step mother is now a lovely bed and breakfast in Fall River. It offers daily tours of Lizzie’s home and her life before the murders.
