I just signed up and thought since I am new I should warn you about me. i am a very private person so i will only be sticking to the topic in the thread that i post in.

I do not put personal information on the internet so please do not ask personal questions. I do not like personal attacks or insults and do not do them myself. Over the years i have found that people have forgotten what examples are and assume something i did not say then address their assumptions. That causes many problems.

Also, some people try to 'interpret' what I say to fit their sensibilities and then attack their false interpretation and again, that causes problems. So if you think you may have read me wrong please ask for clarification.

I am basically here to discuss from my point of view and it may not always agree with yours. i do have my own forum but i will not put a link to it here unless it is okay though i may need to link to an article to support my posts from time to time.

This post is written to avoid any problems not cause any trouble and i hope you understand.

p.s.- i work a lot and there is much to read and explore on this site so please do not be upset if i do not respond to you right away. i am impressed with the many topics and good threads that have been placed on this forum.

Two reasons.

It saves people from having to go to another website when they're studying.  A lot of folks here are students.

Since the work belongs to someone else it needs to have a link to show it's not been plagiarized.

I always found it easier to post the link, then a quote and finally place my thoughts on the issue. then if people are interested to read more they can click the link. I look for people's opinion on the topic they are writing on and i find it more time consuming trying to find their comments when they post like they do here.
